Campaigns can fulfil a variety of purposes - from creating awareness over an issue that little is known about to actually forcing change. Campaigns can sometimes be slow and frustrating, but they also have the ability to empower previously powerless individuals into effective collective groups. Sometimes immediate success isn't obvious, but often simply by starting to raise awareness of an issue, you can get the ball rolling. So the message is simple - Don't get angry, get organised!
