► Taking Part Workshops Volunteer

Taking Part Workshops is a Community Interest Company which aims to increase health and wellbeing by helping people to access and participate in local activities.
We run a social prescription programme and help GPs, community health professionals and social workers to prescribe local activities. We also link activities with health services to make them more accessible, more successful and more sustainable.

Recruitment and screening process for volunteers:
Applicant receives application form
We review the form and book in for an interview
If successful the volunteer will then attend an induction

You will be doing a variety of tasks for this placement, the combination and frequency of which you will decide upon with the volunteering coordinator at your first meeting.  Below are the descriptions of them.

Hospitality- Every month Taking Part Workshops hosts a networking event for people we work with. The success of this is down to having great volunteers who can help to make sure that there are lots of teas and coffees and that it is kept neat. If you like being part of an exciting environment, and being kept on your toes then this could be the opportunity for you.
