Times you can volunteer (Morning, afternoon, evening):
Depends on project
Roles may vary – would be good to have a volunteer who wants to develop skills working with people of all ages.
 
 
Description of role:
Toddler/parent group which meets on a Wednesday at Felling. This requires a commitment to help prepare for opening, welcoming attendees and working with the children to enjoy play as well as helping with crafts or perhaps planning and preparing them as well.
Returning the hall to its original state is also part of the work.
3.5 hours Wed each week term time
 
Additional opportunities can be arranged depending on our programme and the time of the placement.
December is one of our busiest months  in planning and preparing Toy Parcels for around 500 children This would be five days for at least 6 hours each day spread over two weeks and would involve working or leading other volunteers ( depending on the areas the student wanted to develop)
If available a whole module of various duties could be completed in December from above to concert preparation, serving at Christmas meals to bag packing in Supermarket
There is other opportunity to engage on a Wed afternoon with the older age group when again it would be preparation, engaging with the attendees and supporting activities. (if some one wanted to give a day a week)
Additional activities are Ladies Spa Nights which offers various opportunities in 4 hour chunks (2 x each year) Clothes Sales etc.
