Description of role:
To assist Rugby Football League staff and Community Rugby League Coaches in the development and management of Rugby League throughout the North East.
Typical Responsibilities:
• Assist RFL staff with planning and implementation of specific projects throughout the North East
• Provide assistance at RFL, Community Club and Professional Club Events
• Assist Community Clubs with specific projects when required
• Adhere to the RFL Child Protection Policy, Equal Opportunities Policy and relevant code of conducts
• Assist RFL staff with the development of clubs, school, college and university Rugby League
• Assist RFL staff to achieve North East objectives and outcomes
• Assist Professional Club with Community initiatives
• Ability to develop strong partnerships with other, National Governing Bodies, professional organisations and local authorities
Knowledge and Experience
• Excellent understanding of the Sports Industry
• Basic knowledge of Rugby Football League
• Understanding of Child Protection Policy’s and Equal Opportunities Policy’s
• Previous experience of working within a sporting context
• Understanding of code of conduct within a working environment
Skills and Behaviours
• Desirable to hold First Aid Qualification
• Desirable to hold a Driving Licence
• Desirable to hold a CRB
