I represent Newcastle University students and promote their best interests both within the University and to external groups that may affect student life here.
If you're studying at Newcastle, I'm often your first point of contact for anything you might need to know about the Student Union (SU) or University - I should be able to help with your query, or introduce you to someone who can.
I'm here to ensure that every student is fairly and individually catered for and that the activities of the SU and University are in line with your wants, needs and interests. This year, we will open our newly refurbished building and hopefully have something on offer that interests you!
Every student at Newcastle University is automatically a member of the Student Union when they arrive, giving you access to our sports clubs, societies, volunteering opportunities, entertainment and social scenes.
I'm looking forward to meeting the students of 2011 so please feel free to give me a shout if you have any issues, or would like to find out how to get involved with anything the SU has to offer.
