Education Officer  2011-12

Welcome to Newcastle! I have been elected by the students of Newcastle University to represent you in all aspects of teaching and learning. I attend many university meetings in order to get across the student viewpoint which can help shape policy and resolve your academic issues - anything from feedback, to timetabling and contact hours etc, I'm your man.

I also organise the course rep system with the representation and democracy coordinator; This is where you can tell your lecturers what you really think of the course (good or bad!) and make sure all of your problems can be solved. There is also the opportunity to become the chair and secretary of these meetings! If you want to get involved, just send me an email and I can provide you with more information. You will get full training and it is a great cv booster.

To do my job to the best of my ability, I really do need to hear the student opinion so make sure you get in touch!

Also keep an eye out for other sabbs on campus, we're all very friendly!
