► What are Course Reps?

Course Reps are students who have been elected to be the representative for their course and every student on it. It is a voluntary role that not only makes a huge difference to your education, but also to a  rep's future job prospects as it develops a number of crucial employability skills.Course Reps are there for you and every student at Newcastle should have a course rep!

You should be aware who your Course Rep is as they represent your views at Staff Student Committee meetings. Therefore they should be in regular contact with you to gain and take forward feedback on any aspect of your course, positive and negative.

They provide an official link between students and staff and should not only be passing your views on to the staff, but also keeping you informed about any important University issues or information that are relevant to you and your course.

Course Reps are there to help make sure that you are getting the most out of your academic experience at Newcastle, and to help enact changes and development you feel is necessary within your course. They are trained and supported by the Students' Union and are there for you, so make sure you utilise them!

If you have feedback or a question for your Course Rep, click here and your message will be passed onto them.

Please ensure you include your name, course and stage. Your message will be treated confidentially and only passed onto your Course Rep.
