► Meet your Faculty Reps

Your Faculty Reps for 2011-12 are:

Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS) Undergraduate: Amanda Buchanan (a.j.buchanan@ncl.ac.uk)

Hey, I’m a third year psychology student and I love to do all the typical student things including going to Whitley bay beach, doing pub quizzes and of course going out in fancy dress (as you can see by my picture).

My role as Faculty Rep for Medical Sciences is to communicate any issues that you, the student have, to higher levels in the University. I attend meetings where I can voice any concerns to people that can actually make changes happen, so if you ever have any worries or have any opinions for improvements email me and I will do my best to get things implemented!

FMS Postgraduate Research: Felix Chan (f.chan2@newcastle.ac.uk)

Hiya, my name is Felix and I am an M.Res in Neuroscience student. I'll be undertaking the position as FMS Postgraduate Research Faculty Reps for 2011-12. I hope that I would be able to represent all of your opinion and concerns so that together we all can make a change and strive for the better. I can mostly be seen hanging around the library or the Medical School building. If you have any issues that you wanted me to communicate, just chat me up or drop me an email and I will try my best to sort it out for all of us. I am looking forward to hearing from you all.

Hi, my name is Will Milligan and I am the undergraduate Faculty Rep for SAgE.  Since becoming faculty rep I've been working to ensure that students get the best possible experience. As part of my role I attend Faculty Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Committee meetings. I feel that it is important for students to be represented at these meetings so that issues which affect us all can be represented fairly and fed back. If you have any issues that you would like me to discuss at these meetings then get in touch and I will see what I can do.
