After the great success of last term's Charity Dodgeball Tournament, we're holding another one... well, TWO in fact!

Tournament 1: Friday 9th March 2012 - 1pm
Newcastle University Sports Centre (CPRS)

Tournament 2: Saturday 10th March 2012 - 3pm
NUSU (Venue)

So if you have lectures on Friday afternoon, never fear - come on Saturday! And if you work Saturdays, don't worry - come on Friday!

Register your teams NOW - strictly limited to 12 teams per tournament!!
Entry fee – donation to Sport Relief !

Registration via Go Play (1st floor, Activities Centre, Students' Union) - or active.union@ncl.ac.uk.

Teams: minimum 6 players, maximum 8. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 1 FEMALE MEMBER PER TEAM! (every match)
Open to all Newcastle Uni students & staff!

FANCY DRESS HEAVILY ENCOURAGED! Prizes for the winning team.. and the best dressed player!

 ***'CHILDREN IN NEED' CHARITY DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT***

£75.67 raised for Children in Need - thank you to everyone who attended!

 

We are currently looking for students and staff at Newcastle University who wish to participate in a DODGEBALL LEAGUE. Matches would be once a week, and teams would have no trials or regular training, unless they wished to arrange their own.

Super-social but with a competitive streak, does this sound like your idea of fun?

TOURNAMENT INFO:

Prizes for the winner AND the best dressed – fancy dress is entirely optional, but wholly encouraged!

All Newcastle University students welcome – come in a team from your halls, your sports club, your society, your course, your mates, your house, some randoms you picked up in the Mens Bar last night, whoever you want! Register your interest with GO PLAY on active.union@ncl.ac.uk or the Activities Centre, 1st floor (Students’ Union).

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - demonstration at beginning, & chance to practice

Teams = minimum of 6 players.

Entry = donation to Children in Need!

Venue = The Venue (downstairs) - Newcastle University Students' Union

DODGE, DUCK, DIP, DIVE and DODGE for Children in Need this year!

Also – if any clubs or socs fancy doing something alongside the tournament on the day (providing refreshments for a donation to Children in Need, cheering the teams on, providing half time entertainment.. or anything else you can think of), please get in touch!
