President: Catherine Pruitt Velasquez 

"Hi! I'm Easton Flat's Hall President. I'm a postgraduate student from the USA studying Cross-Cultural Communication and International Relations. I got my BA in Communication Studies with a double minor in Psychology and Spanish. I like reading, studying languages, cooking, knitting, working out, and traveling. My favourite poets are Plath, Poe and Humberto Ak'Abal. After graduation I hope to work for an organization like the United Nations because I truly believe in the quote "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world, remains and is immortal." - Ex Corde Locutiones. As President I plan to integrate the activities at Easton Flats with other Halls to promote networking and give students an opportunity to make new friends. We are a community walking into the future and it is what we shape it."

 

Accommodation Rep: Dhana Sekar

 

 "Hi, I’m Dhana and I shall be your Accommodation Representative. I’m doing my Masters in Transport Engineering and Operations. My favourite quote is “It is not our abilities that show what we truly are. It is our choices”.  I am good at handicrafts, painting and an amateur photographer. Campaign Rep: Raul Valencia Tenorio

 

Hello everyone!!, My name is Raúl, I am from México and the Campaign Representative for the Easton Hall. I am studying MSc in Computer Game Engineering, and as my course can predict I am a passionate gamer geek. I love computers and I am always in the pursuit of knowledge, interested on how things work (especially technology and cutting edge devices). Social Secretary: Jacek Wardzala 

Hi, my name is Jack and I am a social secretary for Easton Flats. I am originally from Poland and I am doing a PhD in Cancer Research at Newcastle. My aim is to improve the quality of life of people with primary liver cancer. I think am a very sociable person and I like to participate in various cultural events. I love cooking, singing and I also travel a lot around the UK.  I decided to take up this position, because I wanted to make the residents of our Hall more integrated.
