Where and When is Refreshers Fair?
Newcastle University Students' Union cordially invites you to our 'Refreshers' Carnival'; which will be hosted in the spacious 'Venue', on the 6th and 7th February 2012 from 11am until 3pm.
 
 
What is a 'Refreshers' Carnival'?
Too hungover? Too busy getting to know the campus? Miss the adverts? For whatever reason, if you weren't one of the unprecedented 11,000 students who descended upon 'Freshers' Companies Fair' in September; then look at 'Refreshers' Carnival' as your second chance! This is the place where you can bag freebies, and there'll also be the chance to find out more about the clubs and societies on offer during your time at University; the ability to buy tickets to Charlie Simpson and Ministry of Sound; as well as interacting with the departments that make up your Students' Union.

We've got some big things lined up, and whilst we can't announce everything just yet; there will be a bouncy castle, music from NSR, and you'll have the chance to get your photo taken against our Carnival backdrop, which will then be uploaded Facebook.
 
I've heard something about an F1 Simulator?
Yes! As part of their stall, Santander are bringing along two F1 simulators with them, giving students the chance to get behind the wheel. 
 
 
 
Is it open for all students in all years?
Yes! All are welcome. NUSU prides ourselves on not discriminating against what year of study you are in, so with that in mind, we invite all 20,000 students.

Can Clubs and Societies still get involved?
Of course, but you'll have to hurry, as there's only 2 weeks left until the event! Contact your AU Officer, Alice, at au.union@ncl.ac.uk, or your Activities Officer, Ania, at activities.union@ncl.ac.uk.
