Having issues regarding accommodation?

The choices and decisions you make about your accommodation will play a significant part in your university experience. It is, therefore, important that you are as informed as possible when it comes to choosing a place to live.

Housing issues can occasionally cause enormous problems for people, and when this happens it is important to seek advice as quickly as you can when you get into difficulty.

Common problems include:

  • - disciplinary procedures for misconduct on Halls or the private rented sector
  • - anti social behaviour, tenant/ landlord disputes
  • - problems with contracts and deposits
  • - repair and disrepair issues
  • - eviction and possession claims
  • - disputes over utility bills
