During your time at university, you may experience academic difficulties. This can include a variety of problems with time management, failure of courses/exams, or issues relating to academic supervision. We provide advice on these issues as well as information on how to change or withdraw from your course, complain or appeal.
If you exhausted the university complaints or appeals procedures, or have been unsuccessful, then you can contact the Office of Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education.
If you are unsure of what to do next, please make an appointment to see an Advisor in the Student Advice Centre. The staff can assist in dealing with any academic issue you have and whether or not you do have grounds for any appeal or complaint.
NB. If you wish to put in an academic appeal or complaint, please read information about our academic procedure before coming to your appointment with the Advisor.
