► MAD Foundation

The MAD Foundation is a local charity based in Newcastle that helps people in some of the world’s poorest countries to help themselves, by working with them at a grassroots level to develop much needed community resources. There are opportunities to volunteer with us in the UK as well as overseas!

Volunteer opportunities include:

* Organising and taking part in fundraising events (we’ve had Cider Festivals, MAD Hatters Tea Parties, Comedy nights and much more!)
* Bag packing in local supermarkets
* Doing MAD collections
* Helping out in our office in the NUSU
* Running awareness campaigns and spreading the MAD word
* Doing a charity trek or volunteer project overseas!
