Brief Description of Society Activities

 

The Newcastle Agricultural society is an easy going fun loving society perfect for those looking to do something a little different (Boys and Girls).  With a reputation of being one of the most sociable societies within the university you will not be disappointed.  Non Agricultural students are very welcome as an agricultural background is not necessary.

Sports: 2 intermual rugby teams, mixed hockey and netball teams

 

Social events:

 

• Rugby Social every Wednesday

• Christmas and Spring Ball

• Weekends away to other Uni's (Harper, Reading, Edinburgh)

 

• Summer BBQ

 

• Ploughing Match 

 

 

Meeting Days, Times and Venues

 

• Social around Newcastle - 7:30pm Mondays in Mens Bar, Union building

• Rugby Social - Wednesday 6.30pm - Brandling Arms Jesmond

• Agri Guest Lists for Clubs on Friday nights
