We all know exam time can be especially stressful for students. Managing a massive workload, combined with long hours in the library, and the usual student pressures of a rubbish diet and no money is potentially a bad situation.
NUSU realise that students need all the support they can get during this time. That's why we ran Stressed Out Students (SOS) in the Robinson Library, where students were given a stress bag with a handy stress ball, advice if it's all getting too much and some extra freebies. Free sweets and tea was distributed and we even provided a board where students could scribble down their stresses and how they were coping.
It might not sound like much but we managed to give out hundreds of these bags and we got some great feedback from students. Expect SOS to be back next year, even bigger and better than before.
