Hello there, I’m Lewis Telford and I’m running for your Commuting Students’ Officer.
If elected I have about three policies that I am going to be focussing on. First of all, I’m going to ensure all commuting students have a 24 hour access of storage in the Students’ Union. Second of all, I’m going to ensure that the cost of our transport is cut right down and third of all, I’m going to ensure that we get rid of this outdated system of physical hand ins, because its not right, we’re going to go straight, all the way to digital only hand ins.

Hi, my name’s Jamie Hampton and I’ll be standing for the role of Chair of Scrutiny.
So first and foremost, I think one of the main policies needs to be we need to look into the reviewing the processes of the Scrutiny Committees. We also need to look into making more transparency in Council, there are obvious reforms that could be implemented there and also I think a flagship policy needs to be a voting record for all Sabbatical Officers and possibly Part-time Officers as well so people know what their representatives are voting for and what they’re doing. I think increasing transparency is very important alongside accountability in the Scrutiny committee.

Hi, I’m Jennifer Mills and I’m running to be your Marginalised Genders Officer next year.
During my year as your officer representing all non-male genders on campus, I intend to raise awareness and create a platform for all non-male genders to share their experiences and express how diverse we are and consequently express how diverse our struggles are. I also want to create a safe space on campus for all non-male genders so they can feel able to express themselves as well as introducing workshops to help those who previously haven’t had the opportunity to explore their gender identity to find out a bit about themselves and what their gender means to them. So please vote for me on March 16th, that’s Jennifer Mills for Marginalised Genders officer putting the Jen in Genders.
