You won't have missed this amazing 135 foot statue in the middle of the city centre! Climb the 164 steps to the top of Grey’s Monument on a tour with the knowledgable Newcastle City Guides. The Monument is named after the 2nd Earl Grey, Charles Grey, who came from the North East and was British Prime Minister in the 1830s - the famous Earl Grey tea blend was named after him too! Learn about the Monument's history and get the best views of Newcastle!
Please note the tour involves climbing inside Monument up 164 steps to a height. Please wear appropriate footwear for this.
