Workshop: "Title: Factors affecting black mental health and how to manage your own."
Black History Month is known as a time to look back at the most important civil rights activists and highlight the achievements of B lack leaders. However, it is equally important to examine the factors that currently influence the mental health of people from BAME communities as well as thinking about how we can manage our own. Dr Yvette Arthur is a chartered clinical psychologist, currently working in a psychosis service and privately within children’s homes. She is passionate about community psychology and mental health amongst people from minority ethnic communities. Join us on Monday the 25th of October on Zoom for a workshop on the Factors affecting Black mental health and how to manage your own.
