In these morning sessions you will get the opportunity to practice mindfulness meditation; a well-evidenced practice for reducing stress, improving focus and enhancing resilience and well-being. The sessions will be experiential and are open to everyone with or without prior experience of mindfulness meditation.
Sessions will be facilitated by Michael Atkinson from the School of Medical Education, whose current research is in mindfulness and resilience and the impact of mindfulness on our ability to make decisions. He has more than 20 years of experience in mindfulness, is a professional mindfulness teacher and regularly runs sessions across the University.
