Sleep patterns have worsened since lockdown for many and with the end of term in sight, that can only mean one thing – exams and deadlines. That’s why GIAG are putting on a sleep workshop to help our students explore techniques and theory behind a wonderful night’s sleep.
This workshop will aim to give you some non-pharmacological tools to help you re-set your biological clock to get regular and satisfying sleep. Briefly, I will discuss some of the scientific theories and how they dovetail with yoga practice. I will then lead you through a practice you can use before bedtime and a few poses you can try if you wake during the night. Finally, I will guide you through breathing and meditation practice so you can relax into sleep. No yoga experience is necessary.
The workshop is expected to last around 90minutes depending on discussions. As with all our activities, please join us for as long as your lifestyle allows.
Please note: Due to the nature of the workshop places are limited - book yours now by clicking 'buy ticket' below - once booked you will receive the zoom information!
