Grow your own! Micro Greens and Abundant Herbs on Campus
A hands-on activity led by Marjolaine Ryley for NUSU Go Volunteer.
This practical workshop will begin with an overview of ways artists and others are applying new techniques and understandings to how we live.
Then it’s hands into the dirt as we all get the chance to make our own growing tubs of healthy micro greens, ready for healthy eating in 3 days time.
You will get the chance to take these home to the windowsill, and will also learn about propagation, about splitting your supermarket herbs to get year-long abundance, and other tips and topics that arise.
Using recycled items from your everyday life, pick up tips and skills that you can use and gain from every day you are here at University – without needing a garden or any specialist kit.
To claim one of the 10 places, email Mike at email@example.com now : and as we know that timetables are still being planned he will check you can still attend, by email the day before the workshop. You must reply to that message to confirm your place.
