Owl Box Making with Children (DATE CHANGE)

Meet in front of NUSU for transport to Otterburn

THE DATE OF THIS EVENT IS CHANGING, WATCH THIS SPACE FOR WHEN IT IS CONFIRMED.

Join the team of student volunteers who are going to Otterburn First School to make Owl boxes. These are for both Tawny and Barn Owls, both of which species use the school grounds. There are also opportunities to join in beforehand to help prepare the materials and make a trial box. Part of National Nestbox Week.

To take part, contact lead student Mahalia and arrange which role in the team you would suit best. You will need to be happy safely supervising children (not on your own!) but the main skills needed are patience, friendliness, and communication.

Another opportunity like this is taking place on Weds 6th February.

Finishes at 18:00
