Volunteer at Resolution Run Newcastle

Exhibition Park

Sign up to volunteer to support #TeamStroke at our upcoming Resolution Run at Exhibition Park and the Town Moor on Sunday 23 February 2020. You will get to meet lots of passionate people, like yourself, be part of organising a big event and see your local community come together to help others affected by stroke.

We’re looking for volunteers to fill a number of roles, including cheering on our amazing participants and making lots of noise as they make their way around the course, being a marshal who will safely direct participants around the route and helping to register our fantastic participants before the run starts.

Why join #TeamStroke? There are over 1.2 million stroke survivors in the UK and more than 100,000 strokes in the UK each year - that's one stroke every five minutes. With your support, we can provide peer-to-peer support to stroke survivors, provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research to find better treatments.

By volunteering with us, you can change the lives of those affected by stroke, and it could change your life too. You will gain a rewarding experience in supporting the UK's leading stroke charity.
On the day you will have the full support of the events team including a full briefing from the Event Manager which will also be sent out to you in advance.
