Do you have fond memories of the Students' Union (formerly The Union Society) during your time at Newcastle University?
Did you write for The Courier, play for the rugby team or were you a former elected president? Whatever your involvement, we would like to hear from you!

Newcastle University alumni go on to experience a huge variety of careers and NUSU would like to celebrate these achievements whilst also inspiring a new generation of pupils to consider a future at Newcastle University. We are looking for UK-based graduates* who are interested in returning to their former school or college to share their memories of uni life and to inspire current pupils to think about higher education options in their futures.

NUSU will provide:

  • Travel expenses

  • Training and guidance

  • Coordination of the visit

  • Communication with the school

  • Marketing materials and current prospectuses

Please direct any questions to Flo Stockley, Widening Access Project Worker (access.union@newcastle.ac.uk)

*All applications will be considered individually, however places on the programme may be allocated according to various eligibility criteria relating to school performance and participation rates in the local area.
