NUSU Into Schools
Information for Teachers
NUSU: Into Schools
NUSU: Into Schools is a student-led outreach project from
Newcastle University Students’ Union
aiming to showcase the 'real student experience', and the value of getting involved in extracurricular activities whilst studying at university. We provide activities for
Key Stages 1 to 5
and are more than happy to discuss tailoring workshops according to age groups where possible.
The workshops are delivered by Newcastle University students who may be involved in different areas of student experience including societies, sports clubs or student representation at Newcastle University Students' Union. Sessions cover a
wide variety of topics
to showcase the many different opportunities and activities that are available to students at Newcastle University. Sessions include a brief introduction to higher education and pupils have the opportunity to ask the Newcastle students any questions whether related to the topic they are delivering or about higher education and student experience in general.
If you are a teacher or member of staff at a school in the North East and you are interested in one of the sessions advertised or a bespoke visit from our students, please
Join our mailing list and find out about all of our outreach opportunities first!
