Team Kenya is a small North-East based charity which focuses on empowering girls and young women in Kenya, predominantly through ensuring their safety and rights to an education. As a society, we work to promote the charity and fundraise to keep women and girls safe and in education.
Since our inception in 2015, we have managed to raise the money for Anatalia's tution fees. Anatalia had to leave school before she turned sixteen, after being impregnated by the Vice-Principal of her school. When Anatalia left she was sponsored by Team Kenya to finish high school. Through hard work and perseverance, Anatalia graduated from high school and earned a place at university. Anatalia is one of many girls like this in Kenya that we are working hard to protect and encourage their self-growth.
We hope to continue our good work from previous years and we would love it if you joined us on the journey!
