Brief Description of Society Activities The Newcastle Anatomy Society aims to hold anatomy revision sessions, workshops, and more to help enhance students' understanding of human anatomy. Our goal is to consolidate taught academic material, and expand knowledge ranges on certain topics. We also plan to organise specialist talks by experts in anatomy and invite tutors from the school of medical sciences and beyond to give exciting talks in cutting edge anatomy. Socially, we hope to host regular gatherings, quizzes and fundraisers to help make anatomy fun! In addition, there will be opportunities for members to explore the artistic side of anatomy, with anatomical drawing sessions. Looking forward, we plan to organise trips to academic events and museums advocating anatomy study. This society is open to both medical and non-medical students, being particularly useful for revision of year 1 and 2 MBBS anatomy content.
Brief Description of Society Activities Meetings to be held 2 times per month on either a Tuesday or Thursday evening in either lecture theatres/medical school facilities
