Brief Description of Society Activities

Welcome to Newcastle Uni's Astronomy Society! We host group stargazing events and workshops, guest lectures, and various other socials throughout the year including trips to museums and dark sky sites. As a member, you'll be able to use telescopes, learn the constellations and meet other space fans.

Meeting Days, Times and Venues
Planetarium events, astronomy workshops and guest lectures will be held on Wednesdays at 7.30pm in the Barbara Strang Teaching Centre. If skies are clear, we'll go out stargazing on the Town Moor and get hot drinks after to keep warm :)
