Newcastle University’s Geography Society is a student led society for participants of Geography degree programmes at Newcastle.
Newcastle University Geography society is a fun, engaging, welcoming and inclusive society with the experience and needs of members at the heart of the society. The society hosts social events for members, external to the University, doing so responsibly. The organised social events will include a diverse range of activities such as day trips, night-time events, academic events, and sporting events.
The society is also known for famously organising Winter and Summer Balls for all students across the Geography Academic degree programme. The society will also offer accessibility to intra-mural teams of Football, Netball and Hockey; these will primarily be overseen and organised by the designated sports secretaries.
