Do you want to try something new? Or would you like to learn a new style of dance? Irish Dance is for you!
Our society has continued to grow and improve in the last few years and we welcome members from all backgrounds and experience. The society consists of dancers with years of experience of performing and competing as well as those who have just begun Irish Dance. As well as our regular classes we meet weekly for socials including nights out, bowling, pizza and cocktails, ice skating, and more!
We are hired to perform across the region, dancing at weddings, events within the university, at care homes, but we mainly work towards our own show, \'Treble on the Tyne\', held around St Patrick\'s Day.
Our membership price includes all classes throughout the year, performance costumes and a society t-shirt.
Although we are predominantly a physical society, we welcome people of all abilities and value every single one of our members. We are inclusive of any disabilities and will try our best to accommodate anyone. For more information about accessibility please e-mail Tilly, who will be happy to help, at firstname.lastname@example.org
