Musical Medics society is ran predominantly for 4th year medical students to showcase their musical talent and raise lots of money for charity.
Any one of any musical talent or experience can get involved with our production of 'Chicago' in October 2019! We provide both on-stage and off-stage roles for those keen to get involved. We aim to promote an interest in musical theatre and unite those enthusiastic about putting on a show.
Meeting Days, Times and Venues
There are no pre-requisites for joining other than an interest in musical theatre or production! Even if you have never been part of a musical before, come along and give it a go!
Audition dates, rehearsals and tech runs will be posted on our 2019 Facebook page.
Our main production will take place in October followed by a Cabaret-style event later in the academic year.
Tickets are now on sale for our show "Chicago", being performed in the Jubilee Theatre at St Nicholas Hospital on the 24th, 25th and 26th October 2019. Please note, due to the content of the show we advise that it may be unsuitable for those under the age of 13 years. Under 13's are welcome to attend however they must be with a parent/guardian with their full permission. Anyone who has bought tickets and is unsure whether it will be appropriate for any member of their party, please do not hesitate to get in touch. If necessary we will be happy to issue a full refund.
Money is being raised for The Brain Tumour Charity, Papyrus and funding for future Musical Medics events.
We hope to see you there and enjoy the show!
