Founded in 1952, we are one of the oldest societies and the longest continuously running society in the University. We are also the winners of the 'Best Society Performance' in the 2020 NUSU Awards for our main show, Iolanthe! We put on two shows a year, a Gilbert & Sullivan operetta in February and a smaller show in the summer. There are no auditions for the chorus and you needn't have any experience, so if you enjoy singing, performing, or tech and backstage, come along to our rehearsals! If you play an instrument, please contact us about playing in our orchestra. Alternatively, please get in touch if you would be interested in joining our stage management team. Given the government restrictions, we have been unable to meet for in person sessions this first term, but we have still been mamkng effort to stay in contact with our members! We have been holding weekly zoom socials for our members during our usual rehearsal slot, Tuesday 7-9pm. Ranging from scavenger hunts, quizzes, murder mysteries, would I lie to you, and many more!
