Canoe polo

Brief Description of Club Activities

Canoe Polo is a fast paced, high adrenaline sport.  It can be described as Netball mixed with Rugby and played in kayaks, where the kayak is used to tackle other players.

We are a welcoming club who are always keen to introduce new members to the sport.  It does not matter if you have not tried Canoe Polo before or even kayaking at all.  All current members will show you the ropes.

The club has an active social scene, working alongside the Canoe Club to put on regular nights out and club trips.  The club has a good balance between work hard and play hard.  The year culminates in the BUCS Tournament in April which the club usually places well at.  We also play competitive matches against other local universities and Canoe Clubs throughout the year.
