Brief Description of Club Activities

Newcastle University Men's Basketball Club consists of 3 BUCS Clubs and a Division 1 National League (NBL) team.
 
The Club has a body of experienced coaches, who offer both game training as well as strength and conditioning.
 
We have weekly social events for all the members of the Club.
 

 

Meeting Days, Times and Venues

Training and home games normally take place in Newcastle University Sports Centre.  Some home games may take place at other venues in the local area, in order to satisfy the regulations of the league that game is played in.

Training Times (subject to change for 2018-19): 

  • 1st Team Monday 8.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m. / Thursday 6.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m.
  • 2nd Team Saturday 1.00 p.m. - 3.00 p.m. / Sunday 11.00am - 1.00pm
  • 3rd Team Sunday 11.00am - 1.00pm

All BUCS games are held on a Wednesday afternoon, National League games take place at the weekend.
