Taekwondo is a Korean martial art meaning "the way of the foot and fist" helping develop self-discipline, physical and mental health. We practise WT taekwondo with a focus on Olympic style fighting.
No prior knowledge of any martial art is required, just come along and give it a try. We have a range of abilities from complete beginners to experienced black belts. Please dress appropriately i.e. loose clothing (no jeans). For sparring sessions all protective kit will be provided apart from groin guards and gum shields.
The club will teach a mixture of pad work, fitness and sparring. If one session is not for you, most likely another one will be!
*Current covid guidlines mean that we cannot spar however we will be running socially distanced classes which will mainly sport/fitness based.
