Ready to Rent

Student Advice

The transition between student halls and private accommodation can be difficult for some students. Handling bills and being jointly responsible for the upkeep of a property for the first time can come as a shock to the system, often unexpectedly.

Luckily the Student Advice Centre is at hand to offer all the tips and advice you need to ensure your next move is a smooth one.

Next week watch out for:

  • The summer Housing Supplement inside every edition of The Courier
  • 'Moving In' and 'During Your Tenancy' web pages on the SAC website
  • Regular updates and handy tips from the SAC on social media

Still need more? If you have a burning question or want to be fully prepped for the big move over the summer, you can always book a pre-tenancy appointment and receive free, professional advice by calling 0191 239 3979 or clicking here.
