Monday 29th January

  • Board Games Night (5:30pm, The Lounge, NUSU)
    Give it a Go are hosting a classic board game night. Cone down a play some of your old favorites for free. Find out more.
  • Martin Luther King Geography Lecture (6:30pm, Herschel Building, Newcastle University)
    Britain's best known academic geographer, Professor Danny Dorling, is hosting a one-off lecture titled 'The Global Race: peace, justice and understanding’ and will venture to topics of Brexit, Europe and Immigration. If this interests you, find out more here.

Tuesday 30th January

  • Lush- Make your own face mask workshop (5pm, outside NUSU entrance)
    Come along to this exclusive workshop in collaboration with Lush. You’ll get to make a face mask; you can take home. Find out more.
     

Wednesday 31st January

  • Swing Dance – Lindy Hop Taster (6pm, St. James’s URC Church, Northumberland Road, Newcastle, NE1 8JF)
    This taster session of coupled swing dance, will provide you with a beginner’s level skills session and leave you with enough moves to dance to a full song. Find out more.
  • NUFC vs. Burnley (7:45pm, St James’ Park)
    Come see Newcastle United take on Burnley FC for 3 more league points. Find out more.

Friday 2nd February

  • Thai Boxing Session (5pm, Multi A, Sport’s Centre)
    For £4 learn the basic skills of Thai Boxing. Find out more.
     
  • NUGS Refreshers Quiz and Fireside Gathering (6pm, Alnwick Room, NUSU)
    The gaming society are back with one of their infamous quizzes to mark refresher’s week. Find out more.
     
  • Sepak Takraw (7pm, Sports Centre)
