Council is back, discussing motions such as divestment from the arms trade, chaging how we appoint Freshers' Week Organisers and more!  Any student can sign up for a casual place up to 48 hours before the meeting takes place!  Find out more

  • Newcastle RAG Fashion Show, 7pm-10:30pm, The Venue, NUSU

Featuring the finest modelling talent on campus with walks from top brands and local shops, live music and entertainment, drinks deals, free food, goody bags, and the return of the Rugby Boys walk- what more could you ask for? Find out more

  • One World Week Quiz Night - 7:30pm, Mens Bar, NUSU

The Language Resource Centre take over our regular quiz with an international theme!  Free entry and some great prizes available, come on down!  Find out more

  • NUSU Presents - St. Patricks Day!

- We're proud to bring you the biggest St. Patricks Day celebration we've ever had, with free entry, free giveaways, food, drinks and more!  Plus we've got live music throughout the day and night!  Find out more

Saturday 18th March:

  • 6 Nations Super Saturday - 12:30 onwards, Mens Bar, NUSU

- Join us for an afternoon of live Rugby Union as the 6 Nations draws to a close!

Our classic, underground vibe has provided the perfect backdrop to some of the UKs finest musical talents (1975, James Bay, George Ezra and Machine Head have lit up the stage in recent years) while we also play host to some of the most action-packed club nights in town.

 
What happened at Novembers council

Student Council returned with significantly less motions than October, leaving plenty of time for our big open debate.

Inclusive Newcastle includes programmes and initiatives aimed to increase engagement with sport, remove barriers and offer support to all students. This includes our disability sports programme, designed to help students keep active, have some fun and enjoy healthy competition.
