Challenging the Russell Group's decision to rule out No Detriment policies

Student Unions' have come together to demand action

Dorothy Chirwa (Students' Union President), alongside many other Rusell Group Students' Union representatives, have written to Dr Bradshaw and Russell Group Vice-Chancellors to express concerns over their statement released last week. The letter urges the Rusell Group to take immediate action to ensure that challenges faced by students are tackled.

Our statement is primarily in response to the statement that the approach to providing "individual ‘no detriment’ or ‘safety net’ policies, which were introduced by some institutions as an emergency measure at the end of the last academic year" would no longer be necessary or appropriate this year.
