NHS CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES TO SUPPORT SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AND ABUSE
Content provided by NHS
The NHS has launched a new campaign to raise awareness of sexual assault referral centres (SARCs) - specialist NHS services that offer specialist practical, medical and emotional support 24/7 to anyone who has been raped, sexually assaulted or abused.
The NHS want to make it clear: we are here, turn to us. SARCs provide a safe space and dedicated care for people who have been raped, sexually assaulted or abused.
Sexual assault or abuse can happen to anyone at any time - it may be a single event or happen repeatedly. But we are here, and you can turn to us for 24/7 medical, emotional or practical support at your nearest sexual assault referral centre.
Search SARC or visit NHS.uk/SARCs for more information and to find your nearest centre.
