Trans Clothes Swap

Trans Clothes Swap Logo The first swap is 9-2pm, Friday 15 February

Jack Green, Welfare and Equality Officer, is supporting LGBT+ Week by organising a trans* clothes swap. This is hoped to show support and solidarity with the trans community on campus.

Donations Wanted

Donations are welcome from all staff and students. So if you have any clothes that perhaps you don’t wear much anymore, donate them to our clothing swap. You don’t need to be trans to donate, it just makes you a good ally. Students who are trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming can then come along and pick up some new gender affirming threads and accessories.

  • Quality Adult Clothing
  • Stained, dirty or damaged clothing
  • Cleaned Shoes
  • Household textiles
  • Swimwear and Bras
  • Underwear
  • Accessories

  • Unopened Makeup

The donation box is located in the Cube, just opposite NUSU Main Reception.

The Swap

The first Clothes Swap is happening 9-2pm, Friday 15 February (Venue, Floor -2 NUSU). Your first three items are free and then any additional items are 50p each. We will also be accepting donations at the swap, so please bring along any items that you are happy to donate.

*Trans • Non-binary • Gender non-conforming
