Amazon vouchers up for grabs

I’m an MRes student based at Newcastle University’s Open Lab. For my dissertation project I’m interested in exploring the role of digital technology in volunteering.  To do this I need to talk to people who currently volunteer and those who haven’t got started yet. Whether you volunteer many hours each week, have only been to the odd event or haven’t yet got involved I’d like to hear about why you volunteer (or don’t yet!) and, for those of you who do volunteer I’d like to ask you about your experiences of volunteering, with the hope of understanding where and how digital technologies would be of benefit to volunteers.

I’m still firming up the exact details but the research will most likely involve taking part in interviews and/or group discussions which will take place before the end of the summer term. All participants will receive an Amazon voucher as a thank you for giving up your time to take part.

If you’d be interested in taking part please fill in this form [link to Google form: https://forms.gle/KX7Qu1wVE4Fczrqk6 ] and I’ll be in touch in the next couple of weeks when all the details are in place. If you’ve got any questions please feel free to email me at h.c.rowling2@newcastle.ac.uk.
