Challenges Abroad is running The Elephants and Hill tribes Challenge to Thailand. On this challenge we will teach you important skills in fundraising and event organisation that will look great on a CV. You will work towards your individual fundraising target throughout the year, and the money you raise will go to the Futuresense Foundation. The FutureSense foundation is our partnership charity who are working in Thailand to implement long term sustainability projects.

The best part about this Challenge is that you will get the opportunity to go to Thailand to see what your money is doing. You will spend one week with a hill tribe community Implementing educational workshops and fully immersing yourself in Thai culture. You will then spend one week with the elephant nature park where you will work alongside these majestic creatures learning about the damaging effects of the tourism industry. In each week you will contribute to the long running projects we run there.

It's not all work and no play, you will get a free weekend in Chiang Mai and an optional extension trip to the islands of Ko Samui. The dates for Newcastle students are the 19th July-13th August 2023. If you have any questions do, please get in touch at info@challengesabroad.co.uk.
