N.E.S.T (North East Solidarity and Teaching, a Go Volunteer project which offers free English lessons to the refugee community in the region) is starting a brand new project supporting refugee children in schools and we are looking for volunteers to help.

You will be gaining experience working in schools, doing one to one reading, organising games during lunchtime and running after school clubs.

This is an incredible opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children who have recently arrived from war-torn countries and refugee camps while gaining valuable experience which will stand out on your CV.

No experience necessary, all welcome.

Please email nest.union@ncl.ac.uk if you are interested.
