Natural History Museum - Public Engagement Volunteer

Following his visits to Dorchester, Birmingham, Belfast and Glasgow, the Natural History Museum's famous Dinosaur Dippy is coming to Newcastle for a very special exhibition.

Dippy the Diplodocus lived in London for over 100 years but now he's on an adventure around the UK's best family museums. He will be at the GNM between 18th May and 6th October, so there is plenty of opportunities to be a Public Engagement Volunteer.

As a Public Engagement Volunteer we would like to be great communicators and enjoy working with the public. As a public engagement volunteer you will not need to have knowledge of dinosaurs but you will need a friendly, approachable and helpful manner to support our visitors , young and old, to get the most out of their visit to see Dippy. Working alongside, and supported by our front of house team,  volunteers will be working with schools, families and general visitors in a busy museum environment and we hope you will enjoy being part of the Dippy experience.
