Newcastle Startup Week

Meet our Startup Team!

Newcastle Startup Week is a five day multi-venue festival taking place across Newcastle and Gateshead from 13-17 May 2019, attracting over 500 attendees every year and featuring over 50 speakers. 2019’s key speakers include Steve Bartlett, Founder of Europe’s fastest growing social media agency ‘Social Chain’, Ed Molyneux, Founder of UK’s number one accounting software 2018 ‘FreeAgent’, and Jonny Grubin, Founder of one of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies ‘SoPost’.

The Newcastle Startup Week team is now looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help run the event! Tasks will include managing registration and check-in, networking with delegates, and timing speakers. It is therefore a great opportunity to get to know entrepreneurs in the region and gain start-up related work experience.

Volunteer hours are flexible but should amount to one full day in total. All volunteers will get free tickets to all five days and afterparties. They will also be provided with a branded t-shirt.
