St Nicholas Cathedral - Volunteers Needed

St Nicholas is the Cathedral for the Church of England Diocese of Newcastle, which stretches from the River Tyne to the River Tweed.  Christian prayer and worship are offered here daily, just as they have been on this site for over 900 years.

The Cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of Newcastle.  As the “mother church” of the Diocese, we exist to support the Bishop’s mission, and teaching and pastoral ministry, across the diocese.

We want to find out what people think about Newcastle Cathedral and we need your help. If you’re friendly and approachable, and can spare a couple of hours throughout May to help us engage with visitors, students and passers-by get in touch.
