LD:NorthEast are looking for a volunteer lifeguard for our weekly Early Years Water Confidence Sessions.

This could be someone who is already qualified, or who is willing to be trained for the role. We also ask that anyone interested would be able to commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months.

Based at Beacon Hill School in Wallsend, these sessions are for pre-school children with learning, communication or physical difficulties in North Tyneside. They run from 9.30am and 10:15am on Thursday mornings during term time and involve a programme designed to give children and parents confidence in the water, increase their knowledge of exercises in the water, and to have a good time.

The volunteer lifeguard would be responsible for following the risk assessments in place from Beacon Hill and LD:NorthEast, ensuring that everyone in the pool is safe.
