There is now a free app available from the Natural History society of Northumberland, and in July students will be using this to walk the further reaches of the map and see if we can fill in any of the gaps in our bumblebee knowledge. We will be recording reptiles and other wildlife also, contributing to the maps of where what is : citizen science!

Suggested dates for identification walks in the wilder parts of Northumberland (subject to change due to weather and your availability) are Thursdays & Fridays 11th/12th and 18th/19th July.
